Brian's Bircher Müsli
Today was a tough day and I was close to chucking it all in, once again. In today’s email I mention a müsli recipe that I adapted from a photographer called Brian Ferry who sometimes posted recipes. This one is from 2010 and amazingly it’s still on his blog, you can see it here! I’ve been calling it Brian’s Müsli every since. I am not a big fan of raisins or milk so I adapted it a bit to my needs. This keeps in the fridge for up to a week, I usually divide it into five portions and love having my breakfast all prepared Monday- Friday!
Brian’s Bircher Müsli (adapted)
Makes 5 portions, 345 cals each
1.5 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup toasted almonds slivers
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dried cranberries
3 chopped dates
2 grated apples
1/4 cup organic sugar
1 cup almond milk
Mix everything thoroughly in a big bowl and store in fridge. Enjoy!
